When you create an account on the website ‘Face Off’, you leave data. When you create an account you have to enter your email address, age, username, password and gamename. We process personal data of all players who create an account on this website. When you create and confirm an account, we process the personal data that you have entered yourself. When you wish to be paid out, we will process your payment details. After all, we have to process this data to be able to pay you.

We are allowed to process your data because this is necessary to fulfull our agreement with you. When you create an account, we agree with you that we offer a well functioning website to you while you accept that we earn an x-percentage from your stakes. Without the processing of your personal data, it would be much more diffucult for you to challenge other players. We process your email address, username, password, gamename and payment details, so that you can use this website without any problems. We also process your age to ensure that the younger players do not stake with high amounts of money.

We share your personal data with STRATO. The website ‘Face Off’ is hosted from a server which is localized at a data center of STRATO. STRATO stores the personal data that we are responsible for in one of its data centers in Germany. We use the services of STRATO to secure your personal data in the safest possible place. STRATO offers regular backups, protection against hackers, server security, encryption of data and many more security services.
 
We also sometimes have to share personal data with the government. This only happens when a government agency needs this information to perform its tasks. These tasks can for example include fraud detection and judical acts. 
 
9. How do we protect your personal data?
The security of your personal data has a high priority for us. All personal data stored on STRATO’s servers is encrypted. In this way, a hacker cannot do anything with the personal data when he seizes it. STRATO also offers several security measures to keep your personal data as safe as possible. STRATO for example also encrypts the stored data, has server security, provides backups regularly and has security against hackers. 
 
10. How long do we store your personal data?
Your personal data will not be stored longer than is necessary for the purpose for which we process it. When you cancel your account and have it deleted, your personal data will also be removed from our systems within one week. If your account has been inactive for five years, your account will be deleted and we will delete your personal data from our systems within one week.
